Dominos Hawaiian pizza is so yummy. The problem is not many people like pineapple on their pizza and the amount of calories.
I found a recipe for low-cal luau pizza. So this is the recipe I was talking about that I made last week.
- 2 Tbsp low-fat marinara sauce
- 1 light English muffin, split into halves
- 1 stick of light string cheese
- 2 slices of shaved deli ham, chopped
- 1 pinapple ring packed in juice, drained, and chopped
- 1 Tbsp chopped red onion
Directions: In pink is how I cheat with this one
Preheat oven 350 degrees or put english muffin in toaster
Spread 1 Tbsp sauce onto each muffin half
Tear sting cheese into shreds and roughly chop or use shreded low fat cheese Distribute cheese evenely between 2 muffn halves. Top each half with ham, pineapple, and onion. (skip onion )
Place muffin halves on a baking sheet sprayed with nonstick spray. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or Put in microwave for about 30 seconds or until cheese is melted.
